Spool Quilt
What would you put in a craft room?
I’m getting a craft room, 16X14 feet, which will also have my desk and 2wide filing cabinet in it.
I scrapbook, sew, paint Christmas ornaments, quilt some, and I use ribbons on spools a lot, threads, embroidery thread, lots of scrapbook paper (12×12), and I have Cricut Expression & Cricut Bug, Cuttlebug, and other small machines.
Tons of storage, small drawers for all your little thingies, with labels.
Also, you can get a piece of wood and cover it in 1/4 in cork, and put that on top of your table. When you’re doing sewing projects, you can stick the pins straight down into the cork (through the pattern & fabric) rather than going across. This saves time and will make your cuts truer to the pattern. If you’re tall, consider adding little legs to the wood so you don’t have to bend over too much during cutting.
