Sewing With Fleece Fabric
Buying sweatshirt fabric or sweatshirt fleece online?
I need to make a zip up hoodie for a college level sewing class and was wondering if someone could help me find a site that sold sweatshirt fleece with matching ribbing online. I’ve searched all the regulars, JoAnns and Hancock and haven’t had any success. The colors I’m looking for particularly are purple or like a mustard yellow…any help is greatly appreciated!

The other hitch you’re going to run into is matching zipper. If Anne doesn’t have one, try Stan’s, Zippersource and Zipperstop.
The only company I know of right now that’s doing dyed to match interlock, fleece, and ribbing for consumers is Siltex. http://www.siltex.com/catalog.php?cat=83 It’s good stuff, but hard to find someone selling it. And I don’t recall seeing mustard yellow in any of their sweatshirt fleece in the last few years, but there is a violet in the current catalog.
