Sewing Recycled Clothes

Where can I buy organic or post-consumer recycled fabrics/cloth for sewing? Environmentally friendly sewing?
I am learning how to sew and I am an avid environmentalist. I want to sew clothes and bags using organic or post-consumer recycled fabrics and cloth. Where can I buy this, either online or in stores? I have tried my best to look for it but I can’t seem to find it. Thanks for your help
Recycled fabric is shredded and use to make paper or is felted. It is extremely unlikely that you will find any woven fabric that can be labeled recycled unless it was made of recycled plastics.
Organic fabric would be cotton or linen grown without insecticides or wool grown on organically fed sheep. Of course, neither of those are necessarily environmentally friendly since it takes more acreage to grow the less productive untreated products which means more fuel to cultivate and harvest them.
So, as the first answer says – buy used and reuse them.
