Sewing On Sequins
I need to know the name of the sticky, the dissolution of the bands used in the sewing patterns on flakes.?
I'm Sewing geometric sequins on polyester (which is an art project), and I heard that I need is a type of tape you can apply the glitter to make more precise sewing. The tape is easily removable because it is so then dissolved (under water?). Does anyone know what this is called?
It is water soluble basting tape. It is 1 / 4 inch wide. You can find it in the notions section in stores and patchwork fabrics. However, I would not say it dissolves easily. You ought to wash everything to get the band to disappear.
