Sewing Jersey Cotton
Fabric sources, not quilting?
Hi there. I started sewing about a year ago and I’m decent at it, but I’m having trouble finding suitable fabrics. I live in a rural area, and none of the fabric shops within a 2 hour radius cater to anyone who sews except for quilters. I like to make clothing. Shirts, skirts, dresses, etc.
I would like to have access to soft cottons, cotten knits, jersey, rayon… stuff like that.
And I have a limited budget. I could go to a local seamstress… but she is not shall we say nice about it or fair-priced.
I would love any ideas or helpful links. Thanks!

I’ve found Fashion Fabric Club.com is the best source and if you are not in a hurry, they send swatchs. I have rarely been surprised. Also they have a huge inventory, are not expensive and have a low minimum. I think a yard.
