Sewing In A Zippers
How do I use an old singer sewing machine zipper foot?
I have this really old singer sewing machine like the ones in a table and I think I have a zipper foot for it. Its about and 1- 1 1/2 inches long with two small wholes on each of the sides. Every time I attach it and try to sew it just sews in one spot, the same whole. I sew regularly with the regular foot but it won’t work for this foot. If anyone has any idea what foot attachment this is or why it won’t work, it would help a lot for some info.
Sounds like it’s the wrong shank length for the machine, and, though the presser foot’s down, there’s no pressure.
