Sewing Drapes Curtains
Sewing pleats on a blouse , please help?
So Im making a blouse or top. I have already cut the front and back out but I wanted to make pleats going upward (like window blinds) instead of downward ( meaning like how curtains drape)…
should i first sew the front and back then do the pleats or should i do the pleats first ?

Thank you both for the great advice ! Your right I noticed shortening of the garment. But I cut out just enough to make beginners mistakes and so I thought bout pleats ! and i think i have myself some extra material !!
Well it realy depends on your preference. the problem with pleating them without sewing them first is that u might not get them lined up when ur done. however, if u line it up perfectly i would do it that way.
