Sewing A Skirt From Pants
Simple skirt sewing pattern?
I am in love with this skirt from general pants co (http://generalpants.com.au/General-Pants/Womens/Womens-Skirts/Princess-Dream-Skirt.html), however I can not really justify paying eighty dollars for what looks to be a simple item to make! So I was hoping you may be able to help me out with either similar sewing patterns, or your own expertise advice, thanks 
Oh my gosh. That skirt is way too expensive and absolutely yes, you can make this. Simple.
This is just a gathered skirt with a set in elastic waist band. It has got to be the easiest skirt to make. Just go to a pattern website of one of the leading retail pattern companies or go to a fabric store and look through their pattern books. The directions and sewing instructions are included in the pattern envelope and they also have pictures for you to follow in almost every sewing step. You do not need much sewing experience to make this skirt. Search the web for the companies I have listed below. Good Luck
Tidbit: One who sews is a seamstress, not a sewer. A sewer is a series of underground pipes that carry waste water and toilet sewage.
