Sewing A Dress From A Pattern
How much $ to design a dress and get someone to make it?
I am able to sew quite well, from patterns but have never dared to make something without a pattern. If i design a dress, a seamstress measures me, i pick the fabric, and s/he creates the dress, how much would it cost (aside from fabric costs)? thank you!
Depends on the seamstress and the price of the fabric. I had my senior prom made for me without a pattern, I had the seamstress copy a dress my mom wore in the 70’s. I bought the material and the seamstress charged me $50. It was a while ago, she was my neighbor too. You’ll have to ask around, there’s no set price.
