HELP!! Can anyone on here sew well enough to make suit coats?
Do people still exist who actually make custom garments, or is everyone just into hemming pants and sewing buttons back on nowadays? Where can I find someone to sew some coats for me (for a fee, of course)?
yes, we still exist!!! and we have a lot of fun sewing to boot 
you could go to a site like pattern review in the ad section or go to Joann’s in the member section and post a want ad . you may have been to the phone book in the seamstress section but you may also want to look in Macy’s they do tailoring, they will not make a coat but they may have someone who sews number.
