How do I stop this shirt from balling? (The material)?
It’s 40% polyester, 30% acrylic, 20% rayon, and 10% cotton. I’ve only worn it a few times and the material is starting to ball. As in there are clumps of material forming all over in threads, you know what I mean? How can I stop it, or does this just happen anyway with this kind of material?
This is usually called pilling. If the material has a fuzzy surface, yes, it’s going to pill where there is friction rubbing the fuzz together. Washing the shirt inside out will help reduce pilling during the wash cycle.
