Power Mesh Stretch
Andray Blatche: C-Webb Jr?
After watching Blatche play last season, I see that this kid has huge potential. A 6′11 power forward-center who can score, defend, run and pass (something you rarely see from big men). Blatche has dominated in the post a few occasions with his size and athleticism. He can also create space with his solid ball-handling and stretches the D out with his mid-range jumper.
The downsize is that his moves are still inconsistent. He needs to be more selective when he handles the ball especially when taking shots or making the additional passes.
Andray Blatche’s playing style is similar to Chris Webber’s. Notably their ability to find an open teammate for a pass. But Blatche is not as explosive as C-Webb although he has shown glimpses of his athleticism – but will he able to bring that assertiveness in the game on a nightly basis?
I have high hopes for this guy next season. Excited to see how he’ll mesh out with Wall and Arenas.

Blatche will not have much freedom in attack, because now there are John Wall and Gilbert Arenas.
