Hot Fix Iron
How do I fix my american girl doll’s hair?
I was trying to curl a section of her hair with a hot curling iron and that section got all burnt and now it’s all frizzy and gross. I went on the website and you can send it in to the doll hospital and get a new head put on but that costs $39. I tried brushing it with de-tangling spray and everything, is there anyway I can fix it by myself?

I am really sorry, but you are going to most likely have to send it in. American Girl says not to do that,because I don’t think the hair is human hair. It is wig hair I am pretty sure. So that is why your doll’s hair messed up. I am really sorry about what happened! I have 5, one of which the hair is really curly, so it is very hard to brush her hair! Hope it all works out.
