Embroidery Floss Bobbins
Where can I get empty spools that usually have thread on them?
I need them to store my embroidery floss. I don’t want the cards that people sometimes store it on. I don’t want them to be like large bobbins or ribbon spools. I need them to be small or like a standard size for regular sewing thread at the largest. I prefer the plastic kind. If anyone knows of where I can get these, let me know. Thanks.
Look in your local yellow pages for Sweater or Dress Manufacturers, or go to your local Taylor or Dry cleaners who do sewing and alterations, they may save the spools for you.
