Dress Gown Pattern
Can I find a professional who I can give a pattern and fabric to to make a gown?
I live in the St. Louis area, and I am looking for someone to make a dress for a madrigal for me. I have a pattern for a dress that I want, but I am not sure how to find someone to make it for me. Do I need to go to one of those alterations places, or should I search for a tailor or a seamstress? A secondary question would be, does anyone know approximately how much it would cost to have a dress made for me from a pattern, if it’s a pretty complicated gown (and if I purchase the fabric).
