I’m 14 years old, and doing home schooling. I live in Australia, Victoria, int the yarra valley, and i was wondering is there any fun groups with other teens that could join in my area? I enjoy painting, drawing, playing music, sewing, being creative, but i dont really like sports………. does anyone know of any groups that i could join in my area, with other teens my age? I looked online and i couldnt find any……….. If you can find any groups that i can look into, i will vote u as best answer.

This link below is to the Yarra Ranges Youth Services website , have a look through it and see if there is anything that interests you. The other thing to do is go to your local library and check out the notice board and pick up leaflets and stuff about things to do and groups and such , also get the local newspaper each week and look through it to see what sort of things are going on in your area , often groups or clubs advertise activities and go the Centrelink office and check out their noticeboard and look for any leaflets about youth groups and the like. Ask other kids whats going on and also ask your parents for ideas , if they are homeschooling you they have your welfare at heart but the one possible danger of home schooling is that the kid becomes isolated and does not learn social skills .
